About Our Pack

I look forward to sharing my story and hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I grew up in Montreal and went to Humber College.

I have been an entrepreneur for over twenty-four years. My business provides pet services in Toronto, ON, and surrounding areas. At Ahead of the Pack, we offer quality dog walking, boarding, pet sitting, cat visits, puppy visits, dog daycare and other services. I began this business to create a job that would allow me to be home with the kids in the morning and afternoon for their school bus pick-ups and drop-offs. The most enjoyable part of my work is the bonding with the animals.

On average, I work for eight to ten hours a day, but I’m available to my clients 24/7. A typical day at work has me in varied roles as I’m the owner of the business. I feed and walk pets that are boarding at my home, schedule updates, and communicate with clientele and staff. Then I start the pet walks, do puppy visits and conduct pick-ups and drop-offs of dogs booked for dog daycare and boarding services. Throughout the day, I receive updates from my staff and communicate them to clients. I also upload movies, videos, and photos of our work on our social media platforms. Towards the end of the day, I confirm walk requests from clients and schedule plans for the following day.

It is my responsibility to oversee the operations of the business. I am responsible for scheduling and conducting visits, staffing, training and communicating with clients. I also manage the payrolls, social media updates, the pet walks, and our boarding facility. The most important decisions I make are related to scheduling the pet walks.

I attribute my success to the care and devotion that I have for all my clients’ pets. I utilize my communication and organization skills to offer my best services to clients. I always build relationships with customers so that they know that I am reliable and trustworthy. I value care, honesty, trustworthiness, open communications, reliability, fairness and helpfulness.

I strongly believe in animal rights. I support pet rescue organizations and make the public aware of animal cruelty and injustices in the world.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
